Summary
The sessions are aimed specifically at countersignatories and staff of colleges only who complete and check disclosure applications before submitting them to Disclosure Scotland.
The content for the sessions will be:
- Guidance on how to determine if a position is eligible for PVG;
- How to minimise common errors when completing PVG and Police Act applications;
- Q and A for any other PVG questions.
(Please note that this event will be split into AM and PM sessions. Delegates can choose which session they would like to attend during the booking process.)

Aims
The purpose of the sessions is to reduce turnaround times for Disclosure Certificates by highlighting common errors which result in application forms being returned or further enquiries made to colleges to confirm if a position is eligible for PVG.
