Summary

‘Working Smarter Together’

The first Finance and HR Annual Conference is this year due to be held at the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 May 2019. The event provides an opportunity for delegates to informally network with colleagues from across Scotland as well as a number of sponsor organisations.

Many public sector organisations are turning towards smarter ways of working to address the challenges faced through rapidly changing technologies and the growing pressures on finances. Some workplaces are looking at how to improve the environments that their people work in and the systems they use, leading to better productivity, increased efficiencies and improved services. This conference will bring together the Finance and HR networks from across Scotland to review and showcase what can be done to enable change through smarter working, digital innovations and shifting cultures.

This year’s conference will bring together finance and human resource professionals from across Scotland and hopefully give them time to reflect on the past year and to remind them that they are not alone in addressing the challenges faced by the FE sector. So far this year we have a number of main sponsors including The Tribal Group, Zurich Municipal and MK Business Psychology along with a number of other sponsors. The event will include a number of workshops where you can hear about the latest developments from a number of organisations.
