Summary

#MadeOnAMobile “Take 1” is aimed at anyone that needs to make video shorts for personal or professional use – a crash course in the latest capturing and editing techniques using mobile devices (smart phones/tablets) as camera, editing suite and means of sharing with the world.

In this workshop for beginners, you will gain insight into how you can create video content for the web and social media using the mobile device you already have and with FREE and simple to use applications. In #MadeOnAMobile “Take 1” we explore:

    • the mobile phone/tablet as a camera and editing suite
    • capturing a simple interview
    • framing, composition and transitions between shots
    • using a microphone, tripod and lenses

You will be required to have your own mobile phone, a basic understanding of its camera and the following two applications pre-installed:

iPhone: iMovie and iMotion (available FREE through the Apple App Store
Android: Kinemaster and Lapse It (available FREE through Google Play Store)
