16th May 2019 Open Full-day Conference for everyone interested in strengthening the opportunities that effective school/college partnerships bring to young people in Scotland. This will include Employers, Local Authorities, School Staff, College Staff, Education Scotland, SDS, DYW Leads, RICs.

Aims

This Conference will:

• Share a range of good practice case studies of delivery by school/college partnerships; including colleges working with both primary and secondary schools in a range of inspiring ways, such as in addressing gender balance in different subject areas and in STEM subjects.
• To explore new and creative ways forward to further develop the impact of school/college partnerships across Scotland, creating more opportunities for senior phase delivery, interesting work based learning opportunities, and addressing Learner Journeys.
• To discuss ways to work increasingly effectively with DYW Regional leads to strengthen partnerships across education and employment.
