Summary

The Scottish Moodle Users Group (SMUG) brings together those with an interest in the Moodle learning platform. The SMUG Meet features a series of short presentations from members, with time set aside to discuss any other matters of general interest.

Membership of SMUG is open to anyone with an interest in the platform, and currently includes members from further and higher education, other public sector organisations, private training providers and independents. Between meetings, we carry on the conversation on the SMUG Jiscmail list.

There’s an open call for anyone who would like to present at the Meet, short 20-minute presentations are the normal format, but we can adjust according to requirement. It’s a pretty informal affair, so if you have a story to tell, tip to share, or even just a question to pose, then drop me a line at kenji.lamb@cdn.ac.uk and I’ll add you to the programme.

Looking forward to seeing you all there – and there’s no pressure to present, just come along for the chat, good company and biscuits if you like.

Who should attend

We welcome anyone with an interest in the Moodle platform; SMUG membership is open to any individual or group (from private or public sectors).

Sign up on the mailing list at www.jiscmail.ac.uk/smug for more information about future events and general discussion about Moodle.
