The Health and Safety Development Network are holding an event on understanding the elements of staff and student's personal safety and how to reduce and respond to instances of violent or aggressive behaviour on campus and beyond.

Who should attend

This event is for safety practitioners, frontline service staff and trade union and employee representatives.

Aims
 
This session aims to:
  • To raise awareness of the issues around staff and student personal safety when at or representing your college
  • To discuss personal safety issues and look for commonality in approach, sharing examples of good and bad practice
  • To develop your understanding of how to reduce the risks of violence and abusive behaviours
