What to Expect from the Virtual Bridge Webinars

 
 
Bringing you expert advice on how to deliver Learning and Teaching Online

CDN has partnered with Jisc to bring you Virtual Bridge, a brand new series of webinars. A direct response to the current crisis, these sessions have been designed to support college staff in delivering remote learning and teaching.

The 30-minute sessions are now running 4 days a week (Tuesday - Friday, 11am) for the next three months and anyone can join for free!

Tuesday 30 June
Delving Deeper into Wakelet
Joy McLean, West College Scotland
 
At West College Scotland Libraries we’ve been using Wakelet to curate and share information more easily with staff and students however, it has many different uses and is a great tool for educators.  In this session I’ll show you how to:
  • Bookmark content
  • Create collections
  • Share collections, including integration with MS Teams
  • Collaborate on group collections
  • Use accessibility features

Moving Sound Production Online
John McBain, Ayrshire College
 
Join the session to learn how John and his team moved the sound production course to a remote delivery model; including the use of Bitmoji classrooms to provide students with a clear route to learning online.
