Do you want to extend your network and enhance your strategic leadership skills?
Do you come with enthusiasm and an inquiring mind?

Joining a board is a great way to enhance your skills, expand your professional networks and make a difference to your local community.

Join us at our free Get into Governance virtual workshop to find out more about becoming a board member and hear about our new Get into Governance training programme, offering you a suite of online training modules to get you ready for your first step into the world of governance.

The workshop will explore:
  • Why you should consider going on a board
  • What is it like being on a board
  • What are boards looking for and how to apply
  • The support and training available should you wish to apply for a board role including CDN’s new Get into Governance online training modules.
  • A chance to ask board members questions about their experience
You will also be able to hear from current board members in the education and third sector about their experience and what joining a board has done for them.

The workshops are delivered by CDN in partnership with Changing the Chemistry.

You may never have considered a board position before – but your experience may be invaluable to a variety of organisations. Come along and explore further!
