What to Expect from the Scottish Moodle User Group (SMUG) Meet

Summary

The Scottish Moodle Users Group (SMUG) brings together those with an interest in the Moodle learning platform. We normally meet in person, but we’ll be moving to an online Meet for the next few … last one to join makes the coffee.

Membership of SMUG is open to anyone with an interest in the platform, and currently includes members from further and higher education, other public sector organisations, private training providers and independents. Between meetings, we carry on the conversation on the SMUG Jiscmail list (www.jiscmail.ac.uk/smug).

For this Meet, we’ve reduced the programme from 6 to 4 presentations and aim to finish up in 90 minutes; we’ll most likely record the presentations and upload these to YouTube afterwards – assuming the presenters are agreeable. Okay, so what’s coming up:
  • MS Teams integration – Ayrshire takes us through their experiences with Skooler and O365 integration approaches.
  • ZOOdle – Lizzie takes us through the rapid redevelopment of the RZSS Moodle instance.
  • Moodle App 101 – Titus takes us through the ins and outs of using the app.
  • Find, Fix & Future-proof – Gavin Henrik presents his alternative to Blackboard Ally
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Who should attend

We welcome anyone with an interest in the Moodle platform.
