Summary

Economic requirements, the needs of industry, government policy, education and training, knowledge and skills, all impact on Scottish Apprenticeship Programmes. This event will focus on these key influencers as the programmes develop.

Aims

• To update delegates on the Apprenticeship Levy and the programmes it supports
• To share the latest published Education Scotland reviews on Modern Apprenticeships and be made aware of the new model which will now look at on-the-job training, delivered in the workplace
• To share the SDS overview to date on the existing programmes and look at the latest addition to the Apprenticeship portfolio, namely the Graduate Level Apprenticeship
• To understand the Graduate Level Apprenticeship in practice by looking at the University of Strathclyde model.
