Summary
Machara, the Scottish Mahara User Group, was formed in 2013 by a group of enthusiasts from the education sector as a means of sharing best practice and resources. It’s been a while since the last meeting, so we’ve decided to bring the group together to see what everyone’s been up to, and to discuss what we should focus on going forward.
So, if you’re using Mahara or have an interest in the ePortfolio platform, then we would be delighted if you can join us on the 17th in Stirling.
On the day, we’ll be featuring presentations that cover:
- Smart Evidence – introducing competency frameworks
- Using Mahara for curriculum delivery and assessment
- Mahara Mobile
If you have something that you would like to share with the group, then we would be delighted to hear from you, just contact kenji.lamb@cdn.ac.uk and we’ll add you to the programme!
Who should attend
Anyone with an interest in the Mahara ePortfolio platform, including teachers/lecturers/trainers, administrators and general users.
Aims
This meeting aims to:
- Give an overview of the latest updates to the Mahara platform
- Share examples of best practice
