Summary

From the 1st of March, 2018, Jisc’s video-conferencing (VC) platform, Vscene, will become a paid-for service run by Ajenta. As a result, colleges and universities are faced with a choice – continue with Vscene, or choose from one of the growing number of vendors that supply VC services to the sector.

CDN have invited a number of vendors, including Jisc/Ajenta, to make a case for their offerings. Also on the programme are two case studies, one from West College Scotland who have decided to opt for a ‘Skype for Business’ solution, and one from ourselves, which addresses our need to connect with colleges across the country.

You will have the opportunity to meet with vendors, discover what is on offer and consider which solution is best for you

Who should attend

Anyone with an interest in videoconferencing services

Aims

The aims of this event are to:

•    explore the VC solutions on offer
•    learn what other institutions intend to do after the 1st of March, 2017
•    share advice, opinions and experiences
