Wendy Alexander
Vice Principal
University of Dundee

Wendy Alexander is Vice-Principal (International), who is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the University’s International Strategy – bring the World to Dundee through international student recruitment and taking Dundee to the World through ground breaking partnerships.

Educated in Canada, US and France, Wendy is a graduate of Glasgow and Warwick Universities and holds an MBA from Insead, France. She subsequently worked in international strategy consultancy with Booz & Co. in US, Europe and Asia.

She also spent over a decade in government and politics. As an MSP, Wendy served in the first three Scottish Cabinets, including as Higher Educational Minister and served as Labour Leader in Holyrood.

Wendy spent a decade as a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde and holds Honorary Doctorates from Strathclyde University and UWS. She is a member of the Investment Advisory Board of SEP LLP, a Trustee of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education and a fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh

 
Diane Goldberg
Director
T2G Coaching Limited & Honorary Secretary at Alzheimer Scotland

Diane’s corporate career spanned leadership roles in ScottishPower, ScottishTelecom, Thus and the Royal Bank of Scotland delivering new technologies and processes transforming interactions with their suppliers and staff.

Juggling her career with motherhood, Diane supported her own parents when her mum was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease aged just 54. Her family’s experience has been challenging, scary and relentless but she is determined to ensure that those that follow her should not endure the same challenges and pain.

Diane joined National Dementia Carer’s Action Network (NDCAN) as a committee member, determined to drive positive change in the day to day lives of people with dementia and their carers in Scotland.

2015 was a turning point in Diane’s life; determined to strike a work life balance and for her that meant being present as mum, being there to support her parents as her mum’s illness progressed, continuing her voluntary work with Alzheimer Scotland whilst mapping out a new career that allowed here to do what she loved best – work with people to achieve their goals.

Diane became a Trustee, now Honorary Secretary, for Alzheimer Scotland working with other Board members overseeing the finances, physical assets, and strategic plans to ensure the continued vitality of the organisation.

Diane established T2G Coaching Limited, working as a Life Coach providing personal performance coaching services and business change consultancy services. Her current work spans performance coaching in sports, mid-life rebalancing, school leavers, clients with depression and confidence challenges and delivering cultural change in the workplace.

 
Paul Little
Principal and CEO
City of Glasgow College

 

Paul Little is the founding Principal and CEO of City of Glasgow College, Scotland’s largest college. He enjoys a global reputation as an academic leader and visionary reformer, being amongst the UK’s foremost thought leaders and change innovators.

A distinguished academic, Principal Little brings a wealth of experience in tertiary sector transformation, curriculum innovation and performance excellence. He is an Advanced Management Graduate of Harvard Business School and an Executive Government Graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School. He successfully pioneered the merger of Glasgow's specialist colleges into a world class super college for 40,000 students.

Principal Little has combined a distinguished 30 year career in the tertiary sector with 30 years’ part-time service with Her Majesty’s coastguard for which he was decorated three times by Her Majesty The Queen. He was also selected to deploy with the US Coastguard where he completed three tours of duty and was made an Honorary Member
